The rules, step by step
- Everyone starts with seven cards. On your turn, play one card that matches the top card by colour, number or symbol — or any Wild.
- Can’t play, or don’t want to? Draw one. If it fits, you can play it straight away.
- Skip jumps the next player. Reverse turns the table round — with two players it is a Skip. +2 makes the next player draw two.
- Wild calls the colour. Wild +4 calls the colour and makes the next player draw four.
- Stacking is on: hit with a +2, answer with a +2 or a +4 and the lot rolls on to the next player. A +4 goes on either; a +2 never goes on a +4. Whoever can’t answer draws everything.
- All In is ours: it plays like any card of its colour, and every other card of that colour in your hand goes down with it.
- Down to one card? Tap Last card! Forget, and anyone can tap Catch! in the next few seconds — you draw two.
- First to empty their hand wins. Everyone else is ranked by the points left in their hand: numbers at face value, action cards 20, wilds 50.
- A turn clock runs by default. Go quiet and the table draws for you; miss twice and your clock gets short until you play again. The host can change the clock, switch stacking, All In or the call off, and deal five, seven or ten.
Scoring and the fiddly bits
All In
A coloured card that matches like any other card of its colour. Every other card of that colour in your hand goes onto the pile with it.
Stacking
+2 on +2, Wild +4 on either, never +2 on +4. The player who can’t answer draws the total.
The turn clock
Go quiet and the table draws for you, or takes the stack; it never plays a card for you. Miss twice and your clock gets short until you play again.
Scoring the rest
The winner goes out first; everyone else is ranked by the points left in hand: numbers at face value, action cards 20, wilds 50.

Is UNO free?
Yes. Every game on Table Party is free, with no accounts, no adverts and nothing to buy.
How many people do you need for UNO?
Between 2 and 10. Below 2 there are not enough of you for the game to work.
Do we need to download anything?
No. One person opens the site and starts a room; everybody else joins by typing the room code on their own phone. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
Can we play UNO over a video call?
Yes. Share the room code in the chat and play with the call running — everything private stays on each player’s own phone.
