What Channel Surf is
Rex, a TV-headed host, flips through eight channels of quick mini games: bid on a gadget, spot fake news, predict your friends, guess the year, doodle in ten seconds. The winner gets their own show.
Channel Surf is Table Party’s game show. Rex, a host with a television for a head, flips through a night of TV, and every channel is a different mini game: bid closest without going over on the shopping channel, call real headlines from fake ones, predict what a friend picked on the dating show, spot the odd one out, slide to the year it happened, rebuild a sandwich from memory, sprint in a tapping race, or draw something in ten seconds and vote on the best one.
Each channel is one or two quick rounds, and every round ends with a reveal that lines everyone’s answers up next to each other, so the laugh is in the room, not on a scoreboard. Right and fast scores most. Nobody is knocked out: at the ad break, last place gets the remote and picks the next channel, then doubles their own points or jams the leader’s screen.
An episode is six channels by default, about ten minutes, and the host can set eight. The last channel is Prime Time, where every point counts double, and the winner gets a show of their own named after their best channel. Put a laptop or TV on the big screen and it becomes the studio, with Rex, the reveals and the ratings race on the wall while everyone plays on their phone.

How to win at Channel Surf
Bid under, not near
On the shopping channel a bid one dollar over scores nothing, so shade every guess low and let the others go over.
Answer before you are sure
Real or Fake? pays more for a fast right answer than a slow one, so commit on your first read.
Predict the person, not the question
On the dating show the picker is a friend you know: answer what they would choose, not what you would.
Take the remote seriously
Last place picks the next channel. Pick the one you are good at, then double your own points if you are far behind, or jam the leader if it is close.
Save your best for Prime Time
The last channel counts double, so a mid-table finish is still a win if you land it there.
Questions about Channel Surf
How many people can play Channel Surf?
Three to thirty at one table. At two the show still runs, but Draw It needs three voters and the dating show needs more than one predictor, so a pair adds a computer player from the lobby instead.
Do we need a TV?
No. Everyone plays on their own phone. A laptop or TV on the big screen adds the studio wall: Rex, the reveals, the ratings race and the crowd, but the game is the same without it.
How long is an episode?
Six channels take eight to ten minutes; eight take about fifteen. Every round is on a clock, so nobody waits on one slow phone.
What happens at the ad break?
Whoever is last gets the remote. They pick the next channel from three, then choose to double their own points on it or jam the leader’s screen. Nobody is ever knocked out.
Is Channel Surf free?
Yes. Every game on Table Party is free, with no accounts, no adverts and nothing to buy.
How many people do you need for Channel Surf?
Between 3 and 30. Below 3 there are not enough of you for the game to work.
Do we need to download anything?
No. One person opens the site and starts a room; everybody else joins by typing the room code on their own phone. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
