What Gartic Phone is
Everyone writes a sentence. The next player draws it, the next describes the drawing, and so on round the table. Then you watch each chain fall apart, one step at a time.
How to play Gartic Phone
- Everyone writes one sentence — something somebody could draw. Tap the dice if you are stuck.
- Your sentence goes to the next player, who draws it with a finger. They never see anything but your words.
- The drawing goes to the next player, who writes what they think it shows. They never see the sentence.
- Draw, describe, draw, describe, until every player has touched every chain once.
- Then the room watches each chain unravel from the first sentence to the last. No points — the reveal is the prize.
- Run out of time and the house hands in a blank page or a house line, so the chain never breaks.
