What Brain Blimp is
Launch kites, slide blimps out of the hangar, pack the hold, pour rainbow jars and follow the sunbeam. Twelve quick games start easy and climb to fiendish. Fly the map solo for stars, race your friends round by round, or win two rounds of three against a rival for a rating.
Brain Blimp is our take on brain-training apps like Lumosity and Dr. Newton’s Brain Adventure: twelve short games, each learned from one page. Pop bubbles in order, swipe the way the middle bird flies, remember where the stars lit up or bounce a sunbeam off mirrors. Every round starts on a gimme and climbs to a twist.
Alone, you fly a map of 96 levels across 16 islands. A level is one short set of four or five boards, or a quick burst of taps, and it ends a tier harder than it starts. A star unlocks the next level, every game comes back harder each time you meet it, and each island ends in a Brainstorm.
With friends, up to eight of you play the same boards at once and each round’s places score 3, 2 and 1. Ranked is best of three against a rival, and its rounds start harder as your rating rises. Your brain score for each game and each skill shows where you are strong and where you are weak.
How to play Brain Blimp
- Twelve quick games, each learned from one page: logic, visual thinking, memory and focus.
- Every round climbs: a gimme or two, then harder boards and a twist near the top. Rounds last 30 seconds.
- Wrong pays nothing, breaks the streak and locks your thumb for a beat, so no mashing.
- With friends, each round’s places score 3, 2 and 1. Most points wins.
- Ranked is best of three against a rival. The higher your rating, the harder the rounds start.
- After 5 ranked matches you can veto one game before a match. The reserve game takes its place.
- Practice plays any game’s ranked round with no rating at stake.
- Your brain score for each game and each skill (Memory, Logic, Focus, Visual thinking) shows where you’re strong and where you’re weak.
How to win at Brain Blimp
Accuracy beats speed
A wrong tap pays nothing, breaks your streak and locks your thumb for a beat, so one sure tap beats two quick ones.
Read the arrow first
Bubble Rush switches from numbers to letters and animals, and from smallest first to biggest first, so check the board’s heading before the first pop.
Gold flocks flip the rule
In Flock Flight you swipe the way the middle bird flies, until a gold flock near the top asks for the way the whole flock is flying.
Veto your weakest game
After five ranked matches you can veto one game before a match, so check your brain score and strike the game you do worst at.
Practise the top tiers
Practice plays any game’s ranked round with no rating at stake, so learn a game’s twist there before it costs you a match.
Questions about Brain Blimp
How do the stars work?
Half the set right earns one star, at most one miss earns two, and no misses inside par time earns three. A burst of 12 or more taps forgives one more miss, and any star unlocks the next level.
How does ranked work?
A match is best of three rounds against a rival, each round a different skill, and the higher your rating the harder each round starts. After five ranked matches you can veto one game before a match; a reserve game takes its place.
What is the brain score?
Each round is compared with how a steady player does on the same boards and read as a score for that game. Your scores for each game and each skill (memory, logic, focus, visual thinking) show where you are strong and weak.
What happens in a race with friends?
Everyone plays the same boards at the same time: one game for each skill, then a Brainstorm. Each round’s places score 3, 2 and 1, and a computer player can fill an empty seat.
Is Brain Blimp free?
Yes. Every game on Table Party is free, with no accounts, no adverts and nothing to buy.
How many people do you need for Brain Blimp?
Between 1 and 8. Below 1 there are not enough of you for the game to work.
Do we need to download anything?
No. One person opens the site and starts a room; everybody else joins by typing the room code on their own phone. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
Can we play Brain Blimp over a video call?
Yes. Share the room code in the chat and play with the call running — everything private stays on each player’s own phone.
