What Never Have I Ever is
Everyone answers in secret, then guesses how many went the same way. Reading the room is the game — and being the odd one out pays.
A line lands on every phone with two ways to answer it, and you tap yours in secret. Then the part that makes it a game rather than a survey: you say how many of the room went the same way, counting yourself, before anybody has seen anything.
The reveal turns the room over at once. Call the number exactly and take 100, miss it by one and take 50, miss by more and take nothing — so the player who knows their friends beats the player with the interesting life.
Seven hundred and thirty questions, and the host picks the night twice over. Three decks set the shape — Never Have I Ever confesses, Would You Rather deals two bad options with no way to take neither, This or That splits a taste — and three tones set the flavour: funny, random, or spicy. Spicy is never on unless somebody ticks it.
How to play Never Have I Ever

- Then say how many of the room you think tapped the first option — counting yourself.
- Nail that number for 100, miss it by one for 50, and nothing beyond that.

How to win at Never Have I Ever
Count yourself first
Your own answer is one of the numbers you are guessing, and it is the only one you actually know.
The middle is not safe
Half the room is the guess that is never exactly right at an even table — pick the number you believe, not the one that hedges.
Rare questions bunch low
On anything genuinely unusual the truth is almost always nought or one, and the room reliably guesses too high.
Stand alone on purpose
Being the only one on your side pays 50, so an honest answer nobody shares is worth more than a comfortable one.
Watch who is watching
People broadcast their answer with their face a half second before they tap. That tell is legal and it is most of the skill.
Questions about Never Have I Ever
Is being the odd one out a penalty?
The opposite. Standing alone on your side is worth 50 points on top of whatever your guess earned, which is the reverse of how most room games treat it.
What are we actually guessing?
How many people picked the FIRST of the two answers, yourself included. Everybody submits a side and a number in one go, before any of it is shown.
Can two people play?
Yes, and it becomes a different game: you know your own answer, so you are guessing your partner outright. The solo bonus switches off at two, where somebody is always alone.
How clean are the questions?
The funny and random tones are written for a mixed table — cheeky in places, never something you would regret answering in front of family. Spicy is adult and flirty, and it is off unless the host turns it on.
